• a working knowledge of the current OHS Act, its regulations, Codes of Practice and advisory standards;
• a description of the consequences of exposure to health hazards at work;

• an understanding of the skills required to recognise, evalulate and manage health and safety hazards in the workplace; and
• an understanding of the skills required to administer various occupational health and safety functions, planning, policy development and ethics.
