NSCA's Diploma of Occupational Health and Safety
and Certificate IV in OHS provide the student with:
- a working knowledge of the current OHS Act, its regulations, Codes of Practice and advisory standards;
- a description of the consequences of exposure to health hazards at work;
- an understanding of the skills required to recognise, evalulate and manage health and safety hazards in the workplace; and
- an understanding of the skills required to administer various occupational health and safety functions, planning, policy development and ethics.
